I started this morning. Only three pages done so far, but I at least have all my notes. Word of advice for all you opponauts in school: never do this. Learn from my mistakes.
GIF slightly relevant.

Does it require lots and lots of sources and citations? If so...good luck sir!

I have eight sources, with notes taken on all of them. Now it's just a really fancy mad libs. And thanks!

Ah, not so bad.
I remember a history paper I slaved over all night for a week on the Battle of Thermopylae (300 was a cool movie, shut up) and honestly put more work into research than anything I've ever done.
I got a B. Screw papers.

Then get off Oppo and finish the paper!

My dissertation supervisor wants me to find 40 references and begin a literature review by tomorrow. I have 20 sources and no writing whatsoever...

whenever I need to fill out a lot of space I either talk to someone, or pretend to, and just write down the words. If you stop thinking about it as a paper and more as a one sided conversation with the reader it's way easier. Just keep it somewhat formal.

this was the only way I operated in school. Last minute is the best minute

While you are right, you are currently serving as a voice of reason, and thus I am obliged to ignore you.

I used to do that all the time. I suddenly found out that I worked better under pressure and i wrote some of the best papers ever. The downside tho was my references were shit!

I know fuck-all about the technical of writing but have a 105% grade in my English class at university which is entirely due to papers written in about 20 minutes.
It takes me five minutes to consciously remember wtf an adjective is, but when I actually sit down and spit out a paper for school somehow I manage to get it right.
Bleh.

I have an 8-10 page paper due at 5:30 too! I have less than you do right now. Luckily my 5:30 is 5:30 tomorrow morning. That's plenty of time to write a passable rough draft which, luckily, doesn't get an actual grade.

Hah! Got you beat! Wrote an entire 10 page essay in 4 hours and got an A on it! It's always so strange that when I spend weeks writing a 20 page essay I can only manage a low A but when I wait to the last minute for a short paper I make a high A.

When I was in college, we had to write 3-5 page papers twice a week for almost every class. I don't intend to be a wet blanket...just that this kind of stuff was commonplace. "It's only 5 pages...I'll do it before bed tonight."
I also didn't graduate from college. Take my silly unhelpful comment as you will.
